Clube do Remo launches R$15 million training centre construction

Brazilian football club Clube do Remo has begun building its new training complex, the Centro de Treinamento Rei da Amazônia, with an initial investment of R$15 million. The funding comes from a private‑partner contribution of R$10 million and more than R$5 million from the club itself. Construction is set to start in the second half of July and is expected to take up to 220 days.

The project will be executed in three phases: installation of basic infrastructure such as sewage, water‑treatment and power supply; erection of the main building that will house the football department, technical staff, health and performance units and administrative offices; and finally, the development of three official training pitches equipped with modern drainage systems. The club expects the first two pitches to be ready by the end of the year and the full complex for the next season. Payments for the works will be made directly by mining company Vale to the contractor, and the land is owned by the club.

The development aims to provide a modern, high‑performance environment for the club’s professional and youth squads and represents one of the largest capital projects in the club’s history.
