Clube do Remo closes transfer window without new signings

Clube do Remo has closed its transfer window without announcing new signings for the remainder of the Brazilian Serie A. Despite recent attempts to acquire a striker, including negotiations for Arnaldo Castillo, Telmo Arcanjo, and Eddie Salcedo, no deals were finalized. The club will proceed with its current squad, though it retains the ability to register free agents who terminated their contracts before the window closed.

Separately, striker Richarlison has addressed his failed move to Vasco da Gama. The player expressed his frustration, stating he was “very close” to signing with his childhood club. While Richarlison was interested in a return to Brazil, Vasco sought a long-term commitment of three and a half years, a condition the player's staff rejected. Richarlison, currently with Tottenham, had expressed a desire to play for Vasco until December 2026, but the clubs could not reach an agreement on the contract duration.
