Cluj Avram Iancu Airport introduces Fast Track eGate system

Cluj’s Avram Iancu International Airport has procured and installed a Fast Track access‑and‑verification system. The project, valued at roughly 1.87 million lei, includes two eGate portals equipped with electronic document readers and barcode scanners.

Airport officials say the system will speed up security checks, lower passenger wait times, and provide a premium experience for frequent and business travelers, reinforcing the airport’s role as a modern regional hub in Romania.
