Cluj County Council allocates 5.5 million lei for local infrastructure

The Cluj County Council has approved the allocation of 5.5 million lei from its reserve fund to support at least 16 communes within the county. The funding is designated for various infrastructure and public service improvements, including the rehabilitation of schools and kindergartens, road repairs and modernization, water supply network expansions, and addressing the effects of natural disasters.

According to Council President Alin Tişe, this allocation is part of a broader effort to address urgent local needs, with approximately 16.5 million lei distributed to 49 communes so far this year. Specific beneficiaries include Aghireșu, which will receive 600,000 lei for street and road repairs, and Băișoara, allocated 300,000 lei for water supply works in Săcel village.
