Cluj International Airport hits record traffic during Untold Festival

Cluj International Airport recorded its busiest week in history during the 11th edition of the Untold Festival, held from August 3 to August 9, 2026. The airport processed 91,393 passengers and managed 755 take-offs and landings within the seven-day period.

A new operational record was set during the festival weekend when 23 aircraft were parked simultaneously on the airport platform, consisting of 14 charter flights and 9 regular flights. The festival attracted over 500,000 participants, including artists, production teams, and international entertainment professionals, making Cluj-Napoca a major global hub for music and entertainment during the event.
