Cluj-Napoca celebrates Universal Day of the Iei and hosts literary elite book launch

On Wednesday, the Casa de Cultură a Studenților in Cluj‑Napoca marked the Universal Day of the Iei with a cultural programme that included the launch of Camelia Sîncrăian Pop’s book “Virginia Linul: Din inima satului, pe scena lumii”. The ceremony was attended by European Parliament member Vasile Dâncu and other invited scholars and artists.

The gathering also brought together prominent figures from Romania’s literary scene, underscoring a notable 70‑year age gap among the participants and reinforcing Cluj’s role as a hub for national cultural events.
