Cluj-Napoca hosts inclusive sports program and large family festival this summer

From 3 August to 13 September, the Association Caiac SMile runs its sixth edition of the inclusive sports project in Cluj‑Napoca, offering free adaptive canoeing, tennis, basketball and equestrian activities for people with disabilities, children from vulnerable families and other participants. Founder Ionuț Stancovici says the programme aims to break barriers and promote inclusion, with sessions held at multiple local sports facilities.

The city also welcomes the third edition of Wonder Family Fest, a three‑day event beginning 31 July that features international music acts, amusement zones and a dedicated health area offering free medical, dental and ophthalmology consultations, as well as mental‑wellness workshops. The festival is promoted as a family‑focused gathering that combines entertainment with wellbeing services.
