Cluj: Pedestrian struck by vehicle after abruptly stopping car

A 21-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on Calea Florești, one of the busiest roads in Cluj, after abruptly stopping his car and attempting to cross the street. The incident was captured by a dashcam from another vehicle in traffic.

Preliminary reports suggest the young man may have exited his vehicle to retrieve a wallet left on the roof, though police are still investigating the exact circumstances. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, a 38-year-old woman, tested negative for alcohol. The man was treated by medical crews and transported to a hospital.
