Clusone and Pazin sign official town twinning pact
The communities of Clusone, Italy, and Pazin, Croatia, have officially entered into a twinning pact. The agreement was signed by Mayors Massimo Morstabilini and Suzana Jašić in the municipal council chamber.
The partnership follows several years of developing cooperation, which began with a delegation from the Alta Valle Seriana visiting Pazin in 2024. The relationship has been strengthened through cultural exchanges, such as the participation of the Pazin mixed choir ‘Roženice’ in Clusone in March 2025.
A key driver for the formalization of this bond was the joint European project ‘DOMAS – La Danza della memoria e della solidarietà’, funded under the CERV program. This project focuses on the protection of European cultural heritage and intergenerational exchange, centered on medieval ‘Danse Macabre’ representations found in Clusone and near Pazin.
