Clóvis de Almeida Júnior sworn in as procurador de Justiça in Mato Grosso

Clóvis de Almeida Júnior has been sworn in as a procurador de Justiça in Mato Grosso, assuming leadership of the 1st Criminal Prosecutor's Office. His promotion was granted based on merit by the Superior Council of the Public Ministry of Mato Grosso (CSMP) after he was included in the triple list for three consecutive terms.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the Public Ministry, Almeida Júnior will now transition from the first instance to the second instance of the state judiciary. The promotion followed a competitive process involving 19 prosecutors. During the ceremony, Prosecutor General Rodrigo Fonseca Costa welcomed the new official, noting that his experience would contribute significantly to the institution's work in the second degree.
