CM Punk discusses the relationship between wrestling fans and the industry

WWE Superstar CM Punk has commented on the complex relationship between professional wrestling fans and the industry. During an appearance on ‘Hot Ones: Extra Heat’, Punk noted that wrestling fans are simultaneously the business’s harshest critics and its most dedicated supporters.

Punk explained that his perspective stems from being a passionate fan himself, using his interest in the ‘Friday the 13th’ horror franchise as an example. He stated that being deeply invested in a property often leads to picking it apart, remarking, ‘Nobody hates wrestling more than wrestling fans. Nobody loves wrestling more than wrestling fans.’
