CMA Awards 2026: Ella Langley leads nominations for 60th annual ceremony

The Country Music Association has announced the nominees for the 60th annual CMA Awards. Ella Langley leads the nominations with nine nods, including Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year for ‘Be Her’ and ‘Choosin’ Texas’, and Album of the Year for ‘Dandelion’.

Lainey Wilson, who is set to host the ceremony for the third consecutive year at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 18, is also nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Single of the Year for ‘Somewhere Over Laredo’. Other major nominees include Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and Chris Stapleton in the Entertainer of the Year category.

Taylor Swift received her first CMA nomination in several years for Single of the Year with ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’. While the nominations feature several rising stars, some critics have noted a lack of diversity among the finalists, pointing to the absence of several prominent artists of color in the major categories.
