CMA Media invests in Clément Garin’s CGTV media platform
CMA Media, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM group led by Rodolphe Saadé, has taken a minority stake in CGTV, a new online platform dedicated to television and media news. The platform was launched by journalist Clément Garin.
CGTV operates on a paid subscription model, offering news, exclusive information, audience data, and industry analysis. The investment round also includes participation from Cyril Hanouna’s production company, H2O, and NJJ, the holding company of billionaire Xavier Niel.
CMA Media stated that the investment aligns with its strategy to support emerging digital actors and formats that match evolving consumer habits. CGTV aims to expand its offerings to include podcasts and quizzes while positioning itself as an independent media outlet.
