CMB. TECH reports Q2 2026 net profit of USD 364.4 million

CMB. TECH reported a significant increase in financial performance for the second quarter of 2026, posting a net profit of USD 364.4 million. This represents a substantial rise compared to the USD 7.8 million profit recorded in the same period in 2025. The company's EBITDA for the quarter reached USD 552.8 million.

The company maintains a stable contract backlog of USD 3.26 billion. Recent fleet developments include the delivery of nine newbuild vessels, including Newcastlemax bulk carriers, Suezmax tankers, and a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC). Additionally, CMB. TECH and Fortescue have signed an agreement for the charter of up to 12 ammonia-powered Newcastlemax vessels.

CMB. TECH also completed the sale of several vessels, including two VLCCs and a Suezmax tanker, generating USD 127.4 million in proceeds. Further sales of a VLCC and three Suezmax tankers are expected to generate approximately USD 231.4 million by the fourth quarter of 2026.
