CMLL announces 93 Aniversario lineup featuring Andrade El Idolo

CMLL 93 Aniversario Lucha Libre Andrade El Idolo Volador Jr. Arena Mexico

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) has announced key matchups for its 93 Aniversario event, scheduled for September 18 at Arena Mexico.

AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo is set to return to the promotion to face Volador Jr. The match revives a long-standing rivalry dating back to Andrade’s time as La Sombra, during which he famously unmasked Volador Jr. in 2015.

The event will also feature a high-stakes mask vs. hair (Máscara contra Cabellera) betting match involving Místico and Averno. The contest will follow a tournament format, beginning with an incredible tag team quadrangular. The winning team will then compete in a final suicide match to determine the ultimate loser.

Other scheduled bouts include Komander challenging Titán for the CMLL World Welterweight Championship.
