CMLL announces 93rd Anniversary lineup and championship matches

Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) has announced key details and championship matches for its upcoming 93rd Anniversary event at Arena México. The celebration will feature significant international participation, including representatives from the Japanese promotion Stardom.

High-profile championship bouts include a heavyweight title triangular match where Hechicero will defend the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship against Zack Sabre Jr. and Claudio Castagnoli. Additionally, a four-way match has been set for the CMLL World Women's Championship, featuring Persephone defending against Mina Shirakawa, Tessa Blanchard, and Starlight Kid.

Other scheduled matches include a tag team quadrangular with a suicide final involving Místico, Averno, Último Guerrero, and Templario. The event also features international matches between CMLL wrestlers and Stardom talent, such as Lluvia vs. Maika and a tag team bout featuring Tabata and Kira against Mei Seira and Ema Maishima.
