CMS appoints Michael Marschall as Corporate/M&A partner in Vienna

Michael Marschall has joined the law firm CMS as a partner in the Vienna-based Corporate/M&A team. Previously a partner at Schönherr, Marschall brings extensive experience in private M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate law restructuring.

His role at CMS will focus on expanding advisory services for private M&A, joint ventures, and cross-border projects. Additionally, he is expected to strengthen the firm’s international transaction work, with a specific emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe. His expertise covers sectors such as energy, technology, and consumer goods, including work on business successions, buy-and-build strategies, and carve-out transactions.
