CN Atlètic-Barceloneta wins second European Super Cup

CN Atlètic-Barceloneta has secured its second European Super Cup title after defeating Marseille with a 10-8 victory. The match, held at the Sant Sebastià pool in Barcelona, was characterized by a strong start from the Spanish side and a tense final period.

Barceloneta established an early lead, finishing the first quarter 5-2. Although Marseille managed to close the gap during the second and third quarters—partially due to a scoreless third quarter for the Catalan team—Barceloneta maintained control. Key performances from Bernat Sanahuja and Francesco Di Fulvio helped stabilize the score. A decisive penalty goal by Sanahuja ultimately secured the win, marking the club's second Super Cup trophy, following their first win in 2014.
