CNAS launches online Chifa card renewal for fire victims in Algeria

The National Social Insurance Fund for Salaried Workers (CNAS) has implemented emergency measures to assist citizens affected by recent fires in Algeria. Individuals who lost their Chifa health insurance cards in the fires can now apply for replacements online to avoid administrative delays and physical travel.

The measure covers seven provinces: Jijel, Béjaïa, Skikda, Tizi Ouzou, Annaba, El Taref, and Mila. To expedite the process, CNAS has centralized the production of new cards at its general directorate, ensuring faster processing and uninterrupted access to healthcare services for the victims and their dependents.
