CNBB launches 2027 Campaign of Fraternity focused on child protection
The National Conference of Bishops of Brazil (CNBB) unveiled the visual identity, hymn and prayer for its 2027 Campaign of Fraternity. The campaign’s theme is “Fraternity and the Care of Children” and its motto is “Who receives a child in my name receives me” (Mt 18:5).
Secretary‑executive of Campaigns, Padre Jean Poul Hansen explained that the initiative aims to promote a Christian conversion that fosters shared responsibility for the safety, rights and holistic development of children, while also addressing threats such as violence, exploitation, trafficking, abuse and social exclusion.
The visual identity, created by designer Francenilton Klava, is a dynamic, adaptable system intended for use across posters, printed materials, videos, social media, clothing and large‑format displays. It incorporates bright colours and symbols – houses, crosses, hearts, flowers, balls, kites, butterflies, books and rainbows – to convey joy, hope and protection for children within a Christian context.
