CNDDU proposes five-year rotation for school regional directors

The Coordinamento Nazionale Docenti della disciplina dei Diritti Umani (CNDDU) has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Education and Merit regarding the management of school personnel. The proposal suggests implementing a five-year rotation for regional directors responsible for sensitive administrative procedures.

These directors oversee critical processes including teacher and ATA staff rankings, mobility, assignments, and recruitment. The CNDDU argues that a five-year limit would ensure administrative continuity and allow officials to gain necessary experience while preventing indefinite tenure in sensitive roles. The goal of the rotation is to enhance transparency, traceability, and impartiality in decisions that directly impact the professional lives and family stability of thousands of educators.
