CNFPLF launches HR training program for Senegal's local authorities

The National Center for Local Civil Service and Training (CNFPLF) has launched a major capacity-building initiative in Ziguinchor to modernize human resources management within Senegal's territorial collectivities. The program aims to train 299 HR referents and managers, bringing the total number of professionals trained under this scheme to over 600.

Directed by Fatou Sène Diouf, the initiative seeks to professionalize local administration by providing tools for career management, administrative procedure mastery, and legal security for local agents. The ultimate goal is to extend these standards across all 600 territorial collectivities in the country.

The program is part of the Territorial Governance Support and Territory Dialogue Project (Sgtdt). It is being implemented with support from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), which includes the development of an online training platform to complement in-person workshops.
