CNN Brasil and CazéTV partner to broadcast European football

CNN Brasil has entered the live sports broadcasting market through a partnership with Livemode, the company behind CazéTV. The agreement includes sublicensing rights for the French Ligue 1, the Europa League, and the Conference League for the 2026/27 season.

Matches will be broadcast for free on YouTube via the CNN Esportes and Itatiaia channels. The contract stipulates the broadcast of one match per round for each of the three competitions, with the selection of games managed by the Minas Gerais-based radio station Itatiaia.

The inaugural broadcast is scheduled for Sunday, featuring a Ligue 1 match between Paris FC and Rennes. The coverage will include a 30-minute pre-match show featuring team analysis and behind-the-scenes news. The broadcast team will include narrator Pedro Abílio, commentator Bruno Rodrigues, and reporter Lucas Sanches.
