CNT and Dedalus Group to digitalize Ecuador's public health system

The Corporación Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CNT) has signed a commercial agreement with the Italian company Dedalus Group to implement a digital health plan in Ecuador. The project aims to modernize the country's public health network through technological integration and improved management of clinical and operational data.

The initiative is structured in phases: the first goal is to connect approximately 170 medical centers within the next three months. The long-term objective is to interconnect a total of 1,742 health establishments across the national territory over a seven-year period.

The contract, which exceeds 240 million dollars and does not include advance payments, focuses on creating an interoperable system. This platform will integrate with existing applications and equipment to centralize information, reduce manual processes, and improve data availability for medical decision-making.
