Co-op announces sponsorship of Special Olympics GB 2026 Games

Co-op and its retail media business, Co-op Media Network (CMN), have announced their official sponsorship of the Special Olympics Great Britain (GB) National Summer Games 2026. They join Headline Partner Coca-Cola in supporting the event.

The National Summer Games is the largest inclusive multi-sport event of its kind in the country, bringing together more than 1,200 athletes with intellectual disabilities from England, Scotland, and Wales. The flagship event is scheduled to take place in Birmingham from August 27–30, 2026.

As part of the sponsorship, Co-op and CMN will provide own-brand food and drink to athletes, volunteers, and organizers. The partnership also includes the ‘Meals That Matter’ in-store awareness campaign, which features athletes across 1,000 convenience stores to celebrate their achievements.
