Co-op Wholesale invests in vape range and cuts prices

Co-op Wholesale has announced a major investment in its vaping proposition, scheduled to take effect in October 2026. The initiative includes reducing invoice prices by up to 15 per cent and expanding its product range from approximately 300 to 500 SKUs by adding over 200 new lines.

The changes aim to simplify the commercial model for retailers by shifting value from rebates to lower upfront purchase prices. This move is intended to provide greater transparency and easier margin management as the sector prepares for the implementation of Vaping Products Duty. Managing director Katie Secretan stated that the investment is designed to support retailers navigating significant changes within the category.
