Co-op Wholesale partners with Glasgow’s RaceTrack Pitstop

Co-op Wholesale has entered a five‑year supply partnership with Scottish convenience operator RaceTrack Pitstop. The agreement initially covers four RaceTrack stores in Glasgow, with the first store slated to open in September. Under the deal, the stores will stock a range of Co‑op branded products, including beers, wines, spirits, food‑to‑go, snacks, treats and the Co‑op Irresistible pizza range. RaceTrack will continue trading under its own name and will display “Proud to Stock Co‑op” decals.

Guna Sud, retail manager at RaceTrack Pitstop, said the partnership is a “perfect next step” in expanding the store portfolio and adding value for customers. Ian King, business development and growth director at Co‑op Wholesale, highlighted the collaboration as a reflection of Co‑op’s strength in supporting independent retailers.
