Coa System opens new headquarters in Pohang, boosting regional investment

On 24 May, Coa System, a Pohang‑based industrial‑robot automation firm, inaugurated its new headquarters and factory in the Pohang Fusion Technology Industrial Zone. The 9,000 m² complex includes a two‑story office building and a production floor equipped for robot‑based inspection and measurement systems.

The company, recognized repeatedly as a promising small‑and‑medium enterprise by the city and the province, set goals to reach 500 billion KRW in sales and employ 100 staff. CEO Park Jae‑seo thanked local support and said the new site will help create jobs and expand overseas patents and partnerships. Pohang Mayor Park Yong‑sun highlighted the opening as a success of the city’s SME development program and pledged continued support for firms aiming at global markets.
