Coach arrested in Croatia for suspected child sexual abuse

A 58-year-old combat sports coach in the Karlovac County region of Croatia has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a child under the age of 15. The individual, a long-time coach who has received various awards for promoting sports and his local region, was taken into custody following a criminal investigation by the Karlovac Police Station.

The investigation reportedly began after parents reported the alleged misconduct.
