Panathinaikos coach Nistrup satisfied despite 1-3 friendly loss to Ajax

Greek coach Jozek Nistrup commented after Panathinaikos' 1‑3 friendly defeat by Ajax, saying overall conclusions were positive despite a lapse in the final 10‑12 minutes of the first half. He praised several players – Giakousti, Tetei, the central‑midfielders, Kamara, Tsirivegia and Cherin – for their performance on both sides of the pitch. He noted, "Τα συμπεράσματα είναι θετικά, εκτός από τα τελευταία 10‑12 λεπτά", indicating the team’s strengths apart from that period.

Nistrup also mentioned that defender Kalambri felt stomach pain but was not injured, stating, "Ο Καλάμπρια ένιωσε ένα πόνο στο στομάχι, τίποτα παραπάνω". He emphasized the need to improve ball control under pressure and expressed satisfaction with the match conditions, describing the friendly as feeling like an official game.
