Coachella expands business and entrepreneur resource center

The City of Coachella and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce are expanding services at the Coachella Community Business and Resource Center. This partnership aims to provide local entrepreneurs and business owners with direct access to training, workspace, and professional resources within their own community, reducing the need to travel elsewhere for assistance.

The Coachella City Council recently approved an annual $50,000 service agreement to support the expanded program. Once fully implemented, the center will operate four days a week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Services will include free access to shared desks, basic printing, and conference or meeting spaces. Chamber staff will also be available to assist businesses and connect them with necessary resources.

Educational programming at the center will focus on several key areas, including marketing, workforce development, access to capital, technology, business growth, employment regulations, and government contracting.
