Coachella Valley Firebirds to host Season 5 launch party

The Coachella Valley Firebirds will host a launch party for their fifth season on Thursday, September 24, at the Berger Foundation Iceplex. The event, scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., features activities such as skating, an interactive inflatable puck shoot, face painting, and local food vendors.

Special guests for the evening include Hockey Hall of Fame goaltender Grant Fuhr and the team mascot, Fuego. Attendees can also access new Season 5 merchandise at the team store. Admission to the party is $25 per person and includes two complimentary tickets to the preseason game against the Ontario Reign on Sunday, September 27. The Firebirds are set to open their 2026-27 season on October 2.
