Coachella Valley High School wins Bell Game rivalry against Indio

Coachella Valley High School secured a 28-7 victory over Indio High School in the annual Bell Game, maintaining their winning streak in the rivalry series that has continued since 2011.

Despite entering the matchup with a winless 0-4 season record and facing injuries to key players, the Coachella Valley defense played a decisive role in the win. The defense limited the Indio Rajahs to a single touchdown through sacks, tackles, and a fumble recovery.

With starting quarterback Ivan Garza unavailable, Xzavier Hernandez stepped in to lead the offense. Coachella Valley head coach Bill Johnson expressed pride in the defensive performance, noting their success in stopping the run.
