Coachella Valley Lakers announce inaugural season schedule

The Coachella Valley Lakers have announced their inaugural 2026-27 NBA G League season schedule. The team, which serves as the G League affiliate for the Los Angeles Lakers, will play 24 home games at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert.

The season opener is scheduled for Friday, November 6, against the Salt Lake City Stars. The full campaign will consist of 48 total games, with home contests occurring monthly from November through March. Notable matchups include a pair of games against Mexico City on February 25 and 26.

Formerly known as the South Bay Lakers and based in El Segundo, the team relocated to the Coachella Valley following an announcement in April. The team is currently seeking a head coach following the departure of Zach Guthrie to the Los Angeles Lakers coaching staff. Season ticket deposits are currently available to the public.
