Coachella Valley Pride Hockey League launches inaugural season

The Coachella Valley Pride Hockey League (CVPHL) is launching its inaugural season on October 16, 2026, at the Berger Foundation Iceplex in Palm Desert. The league is owned and operated by the Coachella Valley Pride Hockey Association (CVPHA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Approximately 60 players will participate in the debut season. The CVPHA aims to create inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ athletes, challenge homophobia and transphobia, and provide a unified environment for players who were previously participating in various external leagues.
