Coaches Garus and Volta reach 300 career volleyball wins

Two collegiate volleyball head coaches reached significant career milestones during their respective home openers.

Boise State head coach Shawn Garus secured his 300th career victory as the Broncos swept North Dakota State 3-0. The match marked the first time Boise State volleyball has played in the ExtraMile Arena since 2002. Sydney Dreves led the Broncos with 12 kills and 15.5 points.

At Sacramento State, head coach Ruben Volta also achieved his 300th career win. The Hornets defeated Nevada in a five-set match (25-18, 22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 15-10) during the Sacramento State Invitational. Victoria Marthaler led the Hornets with 22 kills.
