Coahuila 1000 rally generates 75 million pesos in economic impact

The Coahuila 1000 rally event has generated an estimated economic impact of approximately 75 million pesos, according to Coahuila Secretary of Tourism Cristina Amezcua González.

The competition spanned multiple regions, beginning in Torreón and traveling through Saltillo and Cuatro Ciénegas. Amezcua noted that the event, along with complementary gastronomic, cultural, and cowboy-themed activities, helped distribute tourism benefits across the Laguna, Southeast, and Central-Desert regions rather than concentrating them in traditional destinations.

Beyond direct spending in hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and local commerce, the official stated that these events serve to promote the natural landscapes and culinary offerings of the various participating municipalities.
