Coahuila anticipates new investments in manufacturing and semiconductors

Coahuila is anticipating significant industrial growth, with approximately six companies expected to announce their arrival in the state during the second half of 2026. According to Sofía Teresa Delgadillo Díaz, director of Pro Coahuila, these potential investments are primarily concentrated in the appliance, manufacturing, and automotive sectors.

Notably, the semiconductor industry is seeing progress, with two Asian companies currently analyzing the possibility of establishing operations in the region. While German and Canadian companies have previously expressed interest, their evaluation processes are ongoing. Delgadillo Díaz noted that decision-making for Asian firms has shown more variation due to the current commercial landscape and conditions related to the USMCA trade agreement. Currently, Pro Coahuila reports no cancellations or pauses regarding ongoing investment projects.
