Coahuila authorities launch Libramiento Sur Poniente rehabilitation

The municipal and state governments of Coahuila have launched a rehabilitation project for the Libramiento Sur Poniente in Ciudad Acuña. The project involves a joint investment of approximately 14.9 million pesos, with the state contributing roughly 6.2 million pesos and the municipality providing over 8.7 million pesos. Funding is supported by the 2026 Caminos y Puentes Federales (CAPUFE) program.

The works will begin at Antonio Rentería Street and extend to the access point of the Universidad Tecnológica de Ciudad Acuña (UTCA). Key tasks include constructing a hydraulic concrete intersection at a heavily deteriorated point, laying asphalt, and completing new signage. The project is expected to take approximately 45 days to complete.
