Coahuila faces high temperatures as seasonal cold front changes course
Coahuila will continue to experience high temperatures as the first cold front of the season has changed its trajectory, bypassing the southeastern region of the state. According to Coahuila's Civil Protection, the North, Central, and Desert regions could see maximum temperatures reaching 38 degrees Celsius, while the Southeast may reach up to 33 degrees Celsius.
Authorities have confirmed that Hurricane Polo, currently moving across the Pacific Ocean, does not pose a direct risk to Coahuila due to its distance and path. However, state officials are maintaining permanent monitoring of the tropical system and general meteorological conditions.
Civil Protection has issued recommendations to the public to prevent heat-related issues, urging citizens to stay hydrated, reduce direct sun exposure, wear light clothing, and use sunscreen. Special care is advised for children, the elderly, and those working outdoors.
