Coahuila Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas Highlights June Initiatives and Leads Governor Ranking

Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas reported a series of projects and events carried out in Coahuila during June. He noted the state‑level Peace and Security Table in the Southeast region, the inauguration of the American Space Coahuila and a Microsoft Certified Center, the award ceremony for the Children’s Knowledge Olympiad, and the Fut Fest in Saltillo celebrating Mexico’s 3‑0 victory over the Czech Republic. He also announced the signing of the Pacto Coahuila for inter‑sector coordination, the delivery of a military quarter in Arteaga, water‑well developments in Torreón (Well #15) and Múzquiz (Super Well Aparicio #3), the distribution of ambulances to several municipalities, a municipal security meeting, the opening of the XXIII Senior Adults Sports and Cultural Games, and the start of construction on the Torre Latitud tower. An international meeting with U.S. Ambassador Ronald Johnson was also held to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

In a separate assessment, the CE Research Governor Performance Ranking (edition 72) placed Jiménez Salinas at the top of Mexico’s governors with a 70 % approval rating, moving from third to first place. He led the list ahead of governors of Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Jalisco and others, while the lowest rating went to the governor of Zacatecas.
