Coahuila intensifies dengue prevention through fumigation

The Coahuila Ministry of Health is intensifying fumigation and larval control measures across several sectors of the state to prevent the reproduction of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits dengue.

Sanitary brigades will apply abate and conduct fumigation in multiple cities, including Torreón, San Pedro de las Colonias, Francisco I. Madero, Saltillo, Piedras Negras, Acuña, Sabinas, Frontera, Castaños, Monclova, and Ocampo. Specific schedules for these interventions have been established throughout the week to target various neighborhoods and residential areas.
