PRI candidates conclude rural campaign tours in Coahuila

In the final stretch of the local elections in Coahuila, PRI‑UDC candidate Memo Ruiz wrapped up his campaign in the rural ejido of San Isidro, District 02. He met families and producers, highlighting needs for infrastructure, basic services, water access and support for agricultural activity, and pledged to strengthen the countryside if elected to the state Congress.

Meanwhile, PRI candidate Eduardo “Lalo” Medrano Aguirre, running for a seat in District 15, stressed the importance of public‑space investment during his visits to colonias and ejidos. He outlined plans to improve plazas, recreational and sports areas that serve thousands of families. Medrano announced an intensive campaign‑closing schedule: a rally in the rural community of Agua Nueva, followed by events in Saltillo 2000 and Universidad Pueblo, and a final gathering at the Plaza de las Ciudades Hermanas.

Both candidates are seeking deputy seats in the Coahuila State Congress as the election approaches.
