Coahuila Prosecutor's Office Sets Up Election-Day Citizen Assistance Stations

The Fiscalía General del Estado in Coahuila has deployed special citizen‑assistance stations for the upcoming Sunday election. In the Región Carbonífera, 14 modules will be installed in public plazas and busy locations, including four in Múzquiz and two in the Villa de Palaú, staffed by agents of the Agencia de Investigación Criminal and Ministry of Public Prosecutor personnel. The stations will receive reports of possible electoral crimes or gender‑based political violence.

A similar operation is underway in the Región Centro, where 14 points were opened at 7:00 a.m., also staffed by forensic services, criminal investigators and public prosecutors. Officials report no incidents so far and emphasize coordination with federal, state and municipal authorities to maintain a calm voting environment.
