Coahuila talent contest holds grand final for drug prevention

The “Vive Libre Sin Drogas” (Live Free Without Drugs) state talent contest is holding its grand final at the Teatro de la Ciudad Fernando Soler in Saltillo. The event features 82 finalists who represent various municipalities across the five regions of Coahuila.

The competition follows a process that involved approximately 2,000 participants and brought prevention messages to 38 municipalities. Liliana Salinas Valdés, honorary president of DIF Coahuila, emphasized the importance of providing youth with creative spaces to discover their capabilities and find positive alternatives for development.

The final is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, at 4:00 p.m., with free admission for the public.
