Coalition for Jewish Values appoints David Friedman to advisory board

The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV), an organization representing over 2,500 traditional Orthodox rabbis in American public policy, has announced several key leadership appointments. Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Irit Tratt, a national board member of the Republican Jewish Coalition, have joined the organization’s Advisory Board.

In addition to the advisory board expansions, the CJV has appointed three new professional staff members to strengthen its national presence: Isabella Brannon as director of legal affairs, Shaya Gedz as director of federal affairs, and Rabbi Meir Levin as director of external relations.

Rabbi Yaakov Menken, CJV’s executive vice president, stated that these appointments are a step toward expanding the organization’s ability to advocate for Jewish values and the Jewish community amidst rising antisemitism and hostility toward Israel.
