Coast Guard of Crotone rescues four people after boat failure

The Coast Guard of Crotone rescued four people and a dog after their 17-meter motorboat suffered a propulsion failure. The incident occurred approximately 12 nautical miles from the port of Crotone on September 12.

Following an emergency call via the NUE 112 service, a Coast Guard patrol boat was dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that the vessel's engines could not be restarted. Due to local weather and sea conditions, authorities decided to transfer the four passengers to the patrol boat to ensure their safety. All individuals were brought back to the port of Crotone in good health.
