Coastal Carolina football defeats Fordham 45-7

Coastal Carolina secured its first victory under head coach Ryan Beard with a 45-7 win over Fordham at Brooks Stadium. The win improves the Chanticleers' record to 1-1, while Fordham falls to 0-3.

Sophomore quarterback Deuce Bailey threw three touchdown passes, connecting with Colton Hinton, Robby Washington, and Clayton Coppock, Jr. The team recorded 460 yards of total offense, including 251 rushing yards. Dominic Lee-Knicely contributed two rushing touchdowns, and Nico Cavanillas Alti set a school record with a 56-yard field goal.
