Coastal Carolina to debut 1990s-inspired uniforms against App State

Coastal Carolina University will debut limited-edition, 1990s-inspired football uniforms during its upcoming matchup against Appalachian State at Brooks Stadium. The game is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.

The uniform design aims to capture the aesthetic of 1990s pop culture and television, drawing inspiration from shows such as ‘Saved By The Bell’, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’, and ‘Friends’. The look features bold colors and oversized graphics characteristic of the decade.

In addition to the player uniforms, the university is encouraging fans to attend the game in 1990s-themed attire. Limited-edition apparel inspired by the theme is also being made available through the Coastal Team Store.
