Coatzacoalcos hosts inaugural 5K race for mental health awareness

Approximately 400 participants gathered in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, for the inaugural 5K race ‘En Pro de la Salud Mental’ (In Favor of Mental Health). Organized by the Coatzacoalcos City Council, the event aimed to raise awareness regarding the importance of mental health and community well-being.

The race took place at the Malecón Costero and included participants of various ages. The event featured hydration stations, physiotherapy support, and security provided by local civil protection and traffic services. Winners received monetary prizes, while the first 50 finishers were awarded commemorative medals.
